A limited facsimile edition of My Golfing Life by professional golfer Harry Vardon. This octavo-sized volume is bound in a custom full green pebble-grained leather by Hunter & Foulis Ltd. The front cover is ornamented with a gilt-stamped illustration of a golfer in mid-swing. The interior features multicolored marbled endpapers. The title page credits Harry Vardon as the author and notes the inclusion of 33 illustrations, published by Hutchinson & Co. (Publishers) Ltd. of London.
A limitation page precedes the frontispiece and states: This Edition is limited to 200 copies of which this is no. 79. The number 79 is handwritten in ink. Below the limitation statement is a handwritten ink signature Steve Thomas above a printed credit for Steve Thomas, Assistant Professional, South Herts Golf Club, 1934-1984. The frontispiece features a monochrome portrait of Vardon with a printed facsimile signature and date Feb 2nd, 1933. A final page bears a printed mark stating: Printed in Great Britain by Kingprint Limited, Richmond, Surrey, and bound by Hunter & Foulis Ltd..
