Arnold Palmer simply owned this popular golf tournament by winning in 1960, 62, 68,
71, and 73. Hosted by the popular entertainer Bob Hope, this golf tournament
was one of the tour’s most popular stops, rivaled only by the Bing Crosby Pebble Beach
Pro-Am. Included here is a copy of the 1971 Program (Palmer win), along with two
Pinbacks from the ’71 event: Season and Guest Pass, and the 1974 program.
At the time five courses, Bermuda Dunes, Eldorado, Indian Wells, La Quinta, and
Tamarisk played host to most of the day’s golfers, including Palmer.
