Two Pieces of Great Fosters Hotel Ephemera, Egham, Surrey, w/ Golf Content 1931-1932
A pair of nearly century old items for Great Fosters in Egham, Surrey, England, advertising the estate as a hotel and containing golf content. The lot includes a 24-page softcover promotional booklet and a single-fold pamphlet. The booklet features original brown card covers with a stapled spine. The pamphlet front features a halftone photograph of the house exterior and text describing it as a 16th-century house. The interior lists a summer tariff beginning April 1, 1932, along with amenities such as golf, tennis, and an open-air swimming pool. The back of the pamphlet shows an illustration titled The Rose Garden and bears a printer mark at the bottom reading Newbery, Shaftesbury Avenue, W.C..
