Two Pieces of 1991 Ryder Cup Kiawah Island Memorabilia Including Framed Ticket and Visor
This lot features two items of golf memorabilia commemorating the 1991 Ryder Cup held at Kiawah Island, South Carolina. The first item is a framed display consisting of a white fabric panel screen-printed with the Ryder Cup trophy and the flags of the United States and the European Union. The text on the panel reads RYDER CUP and KIAWAH ISLAND 1991. Centered below the panel is an original Grounds pass ticket for the event dated September 24-29, 1991. The ticket includes the event logo, a commemorative seal for the 75th anniversary of the PGA of America, and serial number 09486. These elements are double-matted in navy blue and housed in a dark wood-tone frame. The second item is a white canvas golf visor with an adjustable back strap. The visor features several embroidered elements: the 1991 Ryder Cup logo on the front, the phrase THE RYDER CUP BELONGS IN THE USA on the right side, and the Kiawah Island oak tree logo on the left side. An interior manufacturer label identifies the visor as Landmark Sportswear by Atexace. 13 3/4" X 19 3/4"
