Robert Boyd's 1994 Maxfli South Carolina Open Golf Tournament Champions Trophy
This sports memorabilia lot consists of a two-piece trophy awarded for the 1994 South Carolina Open golf tournament. The trophy comprises a clear cut-glass vase and a separate tiered wooden base. The glass vase features a flared rim and a body that tapers toward a multifaceted bottom. The lower half of the vase is decorated with a deep diamond-cut pattern, while the upper section remains smooth. The front of the vase is etched with the stylized Maxfli brand name above a horizontal line, with the words South Carolina and Open appearing below. The square wooden base has a dark finish and a circular recessed area on the top surface lined with dark felt to hold the vase. A black plaque is attached to the front of the base featuring gold-toned lettering that reads 1994 CHAMPIONS. The underside of the base shows natural wood grain and is equipped with four circular protective pads at the corners.
