Highly acclaimed artist Robert Fletcher wonderfully depicted 11-time major winner Walter Hagen post-swing in front of an intrigued gallery lining the fairway. Two-tone shoes, a comfortable and stylish navy blue jacket and plus fours, Hagen was in his element and dressed for success.
Renown golf industry artist Robert Fletcher has dedicated nearly 40 years to refining his craft in the fine arts. His works are exhibited on the historic grounds of Cherry Hills and Colorado Golf Club in bronze busts, prior to participating as a lead artist in the recent Golf Heritage Society Meeting art workshop. His most recent success was work that was used as a tribute to the course architect team of Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw at the Colorado Golf Club. Robert has a unique style, with a mix of realism and and shadowing resulting in an almost a mythic result. This offering is for a tastefully framed original oil on canvas of the legendary Walter Hagen by Robert Fletcher, with the prized artist's signature painted in the bottom right-hand corner. 23" x 27"

3. Lots with only ONE or NO BIDS at the time of auction close will close at 10pm ET
