Hand Forged Maxwell Pattern Mashie Niblick Golf Club for Taylor and Co New York
This antique mashie niblick golf club features a hand forged iron head and a tapered hickory wood shaft. The head is constructed with a distinctive Maxwell pattern hosel, characterized by twelve drilled circular perforations designed to distribute weight. The club face displays a stamped line-and-dash scoring pattern. The reverse of the club head bears several impressed marks, including the words MAXWELL PATTERN and MASHIE NIBLICK.
