A collection of books written or edited by the prominent golf writer and essayist Bernard Darwin. The collection includes the following volumes:
Tee Shots and Others by Bernard Darwin. Published by the United States Golf Association, Far Hills, New Jersey, 1984. This volume is a facsimile reprint of the first edition and contains an introductory essay by Lady Joyce Heathcoat Amory. Octavo size. Bound in tan cloth with green stamped titles and golfer silhouettes on the front board and spine, with solid orange-brown endpapers.
The Game's Afoot! An Anthology of Sports, edited by Bernard Darwin. Published by Sidgwick and Jackson Limited, London, 1926. First edition, indicated by the copyright statement First published, 1926. Printed by The Mayflower Press, Plymouth, William Brendon and Son, Limited. Bound in dark green publisher's cloth with gilt-stamped titles on the spine and front board. The front free endpaper contains a vintage ownership ink signature reading Thomas Hulme / Summerseat / 26/7/37 alongside pencil notations reading HJRD12-11 and 100-.
