Ceramic Figurine of Old Tom Morris
A small molded ceramic figurine depicting the pioneer professional golfer Old Tom Morris. The figure is modeled in a standing pose holding a golf club, positioned alongside a small conical structure on a low, oblong base. The subject is dressed in traditional golf attire, including a red jacket, light-colored trousers, and a black hat. The front of the base features a hand-painted inscription in gold-tone script that reads Old Tom Morris. The figurine is finished with a translucent glaze exhibiting an all-over network of crazing. The base is hollow with a single circular aperture on the underside. 3 1/2" x 1 " x 4 3/4"
