This is a signed and matted art print by artist Bill Waugh (British, 1929–2008) depicting The Royal and Ancient Clubhouse at St Andrews, Scotland. The artwork is a pen-and-ink style illustration providing a historical recreation of the iconic clubhouse and surrounding grounds as they appeared in the late 19th century. The scene features various figures in Victorian-era attire, including golfers and spectators. The text "circa 1890" is printed at the bottom center of the image area. The print is mounted in a dark green mat. Hand-inscribed in gold ink on the lower-left mat is the title, "The Royal & Ancient Clubhouse," and the artist's signature, "Bill Waugh," is hand-inscribed in gold ink on the lower-right mat. The reverse of the mounting features a gold foil label with the artist's name and studio address in Torquay, England. 11" x 7 1/2"
