Arnold Palmer Peerless P33 Chattanooga Driver with True Temper Dynamic Gold Shaft
This vintage golf club is an Arnold Palmer Peerless P33 driver, manufactured in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The club features a wooden head with a high-gloss, deep reddish-brown finish. The clubface contains a decorative multi-colored insert consisting of maroon, cream, and brown sections, held in place by five Phillips head screws arranged in a cross pattern. The bottom of the head is protected by a brass-finished metal sole plate. Engraved markings on the sole plate include the Palmer script signature, the Peerless model name with a tm superscript, the manufacturing location CHATTANOOGA, and a large numeral 1. Stamped into the wood at the trailing edge of the sole is P33. A circular recessed stamp at the top of the sole plate reads dens/tized. The club is equipped with a True Temper Dynamic Gold steel shaft, featuring a gold and black manufacturer label that indicates it was made in the U.S.A. The grip is a brown leather wrap-style Neumann grip, marked with a bull logo and the characters N E near the base. A black plastic ferrule secures the transition between the head and the shaft.
