A Set of Arnold Palmer Limited Edition Masters Coins in Original Box
A set of dual-tone commemorative coins produced for The Masters Tournament to honor golf legend Arnold Palmer. The collection consists of four coins, each housed in a protective acrylic capsule. The obverse of each coin commemorates one of Palmer's four Masters victories: the 1958 Champion coin features a portrait of Palmer; the 1960 Champion coin depicts him putting; the 1962 Champion coin shows his distinctive swing follow-through; and the 1964 Champion coin portrays him in action. The reverse of each coin features the Masters logo (a map of the United States with a flagstick), a facsimile signature of Arnold Palmer, and the printed quote: The overall effect of the Masters is one that always makes coming here feel a little like coming home. The coins are presented in a dark green lacquered wooden display box with a high-gloss finish, featuring the gold-toned Masters logo on the lid. The set includes an official Certificate of Authenticity and its original cream-colored envelope. The certificate indicates that proceeds from the original sale supported the Arnie's Army Charitable Foundation and identifies this set as number 204 of a limited edition of 750.
