A Collection of 1998 Masters Tournament Memorabilia Including Journal and Badges
This collection of professional golf memorabilia relates to the 1998 Masters Tournament held at Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, Georgia, between April 6 and April 12, 1998. The collection consists of one official 1998 Masters Journal featuring tournament co-founder Bobby Jones on the front cover. The journal reverse shows a course landscape, a barcode with digits 0 74851 08538 7, and a 7.00 dollar retail price. The collection also contains three tournament SERIES badges for the dates of April 9-12, 1998. Each badge features the Augusta National clubhouse and the Masters logo. The badges consist of one Series badge with serial number S 00063 and two Tournament badges with sequential serial numbers Q 07811 and Q 07812. The tournament badges show a printed price of 100 dollars. The reverse side of the badges provides tournament regulations and includes a printed signature for Robert Tyre Jones, Jr. Two of the badges are fitted with their original safety pin attachments. Completing the lot is a small circular metal lapel pin featuring the Masters logo map.
