1997 Grand Slam Ventures Champions of Golf The Masters Collection Factory Sealed Box Set
This lot features a complete factory-sealed collector set titled Champions of Golf: The Masters Collection, produced by Grand Slam Ventures, Inc. in 1997. The set consists of 62 premium trading cards, each honoring a champion of the Masters Tournament from its beginning in 1934 through the 1997 victory by Tiger Woods. The collection includes notable cards for legendary golfers such as Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer, Ben Hogan, Sam Snead, Byron Nelson, and Gene Sarazen. Each card is designed with authentic Masters photography and historical text detailing the specific champion's win, including a foreword by Arnold Palmer. The exterior of the black box is decorated with printed facsimile signatures from numerous golf legends and gold-tone lettering. The reverse side of the packaging provides a complete list of the champions and years included in the set.
