1996 Titleist Champions of Golf The Masters Collection Complete Trading Card Set
This is a 1996 Champions of Golf - The Masters Collection trading card set, produced by Grand Slam Ventures and presented as a promotional item compliments of Titleist. The set serves as a historical record of Masters Tournament champions from the event's inception in 1934 through 1996. The collection is housed in a black, square outer package with gold-tone graphics. The front of the package features a central gold square containing a silhouette of a golfer at the peak of their swing, flanked by the words COMPLIMENTS OF above and the Titleist script logo with the tagline #1 ball in golf. below. The reverse side provides a summary of the collection and the tournament's history, specifically mentioning the postponement of the Masters from 1943 to 1945 during World War II. It also includes a promotional offer for a custom-designed portfolio album from Grand Slam Ventures, based in Tampa, Florida. The packaging is marked Made in the U.S.A. and is factory sealed.
