1995 PGA Carolinas Section Izod Club CPGA Pro-Pro Championship Crystal Trophy Vase
This professional golf championship trophy is constructed of heavy clear cut crystal in the form of a footed vase. The vessel features a flared rim and a tapered body set upon a circular stepped pedestal base. Decorative elements include a band of diamond-shaped criss-cross cuts around the shoulder and vertical wedge cuts extending from the base. The front of the body is professionally etched with the Professional Golfers Association of America logo, which includes the PGA initials, a central golf ball graphic, and the founding year 1916. Below the logo, the etching identifies the event as the Carolinas Section Izod Club/CPGA Pro-Pro Championship held in Pinehurst, North Carolina, from November 28-30, 1995. The award is designated for the Champion. The design and cut pattern resemble the Gallia pattern by Rogaska, though no maker mark is visible on the underside of the base. 5 1/2" x 5 1/2" x 13 3/4"
