1993 US Junior Amateur Championship at Waverley CC Official Program - Tiger Woods Winner
Waverley Country Club in Portland Oregon played host to the United States Golf Association's 1993 Junior Amateur Championship. A red-hot Junior in high school Tiger Woods entered the tournament as the strong favorite and rightfully so. Woods had in fact won consecutive tournament championships the two years prior at Bay Hill and Wollaston Golf Club in Massachusetts. The only other golfer to win this championship multiple times before or since was Jordan Spieth, however not consecutive. Woods would win in 19 holes over a future tour winner in Ryan Armour. This program is his from that third and final win that week, with the following three years being Tiger Woods' more publicized (and attended) US Amateur titles. This is only the second program we have offered from this tournament, an ultra scarce item as the title states.
