1973 Ryder Cup Team USA Issued Red, White & Blue Leather Duffel Bag
Along with the team issued patriotic red, white and blue bag with a Ryder Cup patch being aesthetically pleasing, it is also a tough Ryder Cup tournament-used category hobby entry. The 1973 edition of the biennial matches would be no different. Muirfield hosted an away win by the American team with a final tally of 19 to 13. Jack Nicklaus led the way with 4 1/2 points for the US Team. The leather bag remains in good to very good condition considering age and designed utility with one flag with button cracked with heavy wear as shown in the accompanying lot photos.
