Murray Irwin "Moe" Norman (July 10, 1929 – September 4, 2004) was a Canadian professional golfer. He was widely considered the best ball striker who ever lived, and among the best players in the world. His accuracy, his ability to hit shot after shot perfectly straight, gave him the nickname "Pipeline Moe".Off the course there is not enough "E's" to type for how ECCENTRIC he was. A most reluctant of autograph signers. This signed golf ball is on almost all advanced collectors want lists. This ball signed simply "Moe" as was his trait on golf balls, appears in black sharpie with the autograph grading out a ten. Did you think Moe would miss hit one? Letter of provenance comes from our consignor who worked on Moe's clubs, and being a golf ball collector realized the special opportunity he had.
This seldom scene single signed golf ball has been reviewed by James Spence Authentication, and their letter accompanies this lot.
