John Daly's Personal Tiger Woods Perfectly Signed 'Tiger Woods' Wheaties Box - Excellent Condition
Surrounding John Daly's office desk positioned in the center of the back room location is an organized sea of exhibited memorabilia and merchandise, most of those items being evidence of different branding projects that Daly's company John Daly Enterprises has released over the years - sporting his patented multi-colored Lion logo on them. One of the handful of pieces John had on display that featured a different celebrity is presented in this lot, a perfectly signed Wheaties box by none other than long-time competitor and friend Tiger Woods. Tiger is captured by the Wheaties packaging photographer wearing his Sunday Red and eating the cereal. The reverse of this box includes information on the Tiger Woods Foundation, Saturday morning reading material delving into the worthy cause. Many are familiar with the story by now. Tiger Woods turned professional in 1996 at the Greater Milwaukee Open, and by April 1997 he had already won his first major, the Masters in a record-breaking performance. The successful business man John Daly continues to parlay his popularity for merchandising efforts and will be using the space where the box was to proudly show those recent successes off. The bag of Wheaties are still in the box, with the top opened up. James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed this signature and their auction letter of authenticity comes with this lot.
