Vintage Vardon Flyer Gutta Percha Bramble Golf Ball

The ball in this lot was made by Spalding circa 1900, the same year that Vardon was victorious at the US Open. Harry Vardon won the Open Championship six times, as well as the first US Open in the 20th century. He was a member of the 'Great Triumvirate' along with golfers JH Taylor and James Braid. This ball has "Vardon Flyer" at both poles, with one side displaying a crack. Please see photos.
