The Suppressed Tiger Woods Eyewitness Commemorative Sterling Silver Medal with Box & Stand
Encased in the original plastic display, this sterling silver medallion by Franklin Mint was issued as a part of their "Eyewitness Medal Series" in commemoration of Woods' victory in the 1997 Masters Golf Tournament. The Tiger Woods powerhouse camp attempted to suppress the distribution of this medal as it used Tiger's likeness. They did not want the association of the Franklin Mint company with Tiger. The Woods camp was successful in suppressing distribution of the medal, but this limited edition medal is one of only a few limited number that were sold before the judgement was given. Case measures 2 1/2" x 3 3/4" while the medal measures a diameter of 1 1/2"
