Merion Golf Club 1896-1996 Anniversary Ceramic Plate by Boehm

Merion Golf Club has hosted many important events in the almost 120 years of it's existence. It has hosted 5 US Opens, including the 1950 US Open where Ben Hogan made his incredible comeback from the near-fatal car accident, and the 1971 US Open that saw Trevino defeat Nicklaus in a playoff. Merion has also hosted a slew of men's and women's Amateur Opens, including the 1924 and 1930 Amateurs won by Bobby Jones. Here we have a ceramic Boehm plate from 1996 celebrating the 100th anniversary of Merion. The plate is 10 3/4" in diameter and presents in excellent condition.

Please note: This auction will end at 7:00pm EST on Sunday, June 18th, with EXTENDED BIDDING to follow. All items in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period. All lots are free to be bid on until extended bidding has ended
