1974 Ltd Ed Porcelain Lionstone Whiskey 'Snead' Inspired Golfer Decanter

Here we have a 1974 Lionstone Whisky decanter. A golfer in the likeness of Sam Snead addresses his ball. The decanter stands 12 1/4" tall and is in excellent condition. The back reads:

"Golf

The origins of golf have been traced back 600 years to Scotland. The game was brought to America by John Reid, a Scotish native. With six clubs and 24 balls, he took some of his cronies to a Yonkers, New York, cow pasture on February 22, 1888. They laid out three short holes and dug cups with the head of one of the irons...this was the first course in the U.S. Today, players on the pro tour vie for purses totaling over $7 million."
