From the collection Of long time caddy for Jack Nicklaus, Anegelo Argea comes this yellow 18th hole course flag. This flag on its reverse carries a FORE-PAR hang tag which was written in Angelo's hand "TPC 1978". This dating would correspond with Jack Nicklaus' victory at the 1978 Tournament Players Championship which Angelo was "on the bag" when it was contested at Sawgrass C.C. We unfortunatly do not have the same photo matching and concrete documentation on this flag as the others offered in this auction from Angelo's collection. This flag has been signed in black sharpie by Jack Nicklaus. With this lot comes a letter from James Spence Authentication attesting to authenticty of the Nicklaus autograph on this flag
