Smoking was part of everyday life in the early 1900's. Golf was a popular sport that that drew much attention so tobacco companies would sponsor golfers. Players such as Harry Vardon were frequently seen smoking during their matches They would make smoking look easy and cool. Featured in this lot is tobacco pipe with a length of 6". The pipe has a golf themed sterling silver overlay around bowl and shank and sits nicely in the hand.
