Bobby Jones Signed & Personalized 1930 British Amateur at St. Andrews Print - Framed
Offered here is a wonderful Signed Bobby Jones 1930 British Amateur Framed & Matted Print. This print commemorates the magical season of 1930 when Jones won the Grand Slam and this print captures in stunning colorful fashion the finishing hole at one stop of this amazing feat. Signed by Bob Jones late in life, presumably on March 18, 1968, to an individual as clearly seen in the lower right portion of the print. Mr. Jones’ penmanship wasn’t as fluid late in life due to his crippling illness but he did sign this very carefully and nicely and this piece was examined by JSA, the industry leader in authentication, and they agree with us that the great Bobby Jones indeed signed this wonderful piece. The leadership at St. Andrews and Mr. Jones had a mutual admiration for each other and anything signed by Jones with a St. Andrews connection usually brings a premium in the marketplace.
