(7) 1989 PGA Championship Kemper Lakes Tickets w/ Multi-Signed Monday - Payne 1st Major
This collection consists of seven original daily admission tickets from the 71st PGA Championship held at Kemper Lakes Golf Club in Long Grove, Illinois, from August 7 to 13, 1989. This tournament is historically significant as the first major championship victory for World Golf Hall of Famer Payne Stewart. The lot includes six Grounds tickets for Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, along with one Hospitality ticket for Monday. The Monday Hospitality ticket bears multiple signatures including Curt Byrum, Dave Barr, Corey Pavin, Ray Floyd, Nick Price and Larry Mize. The reverse contains multiple signatures including John Huston, Steve Ellington, Lanny Wadkins, Chip Beck and others. James Spence Authentication has reviewed these autographs, and their auction house letter of authenticity comes with this lot.
