Watson. J. Martin Special Brass Putter With Cork Face Insert
Clubmaker Watson. J. Martin crafted this brass putter with a cork insert in the face and back of the club. Hickory shafted brass clubs with wood inserts was a method that clubmakers used, balancing the head weight in different ways. The head stamp reads "J. Martin Watson Special" Putter - Pat. Applied For. The putter is in good condition, with nicking apparent throughout the head. It is 35" from the top of the grip to the bottom of the heel.
