With photomatching and provenance from the Babe Zaharias Estate by way of the Babe Zaharias Foundation, this lot is WWI Fighter Pilot & Medal of Honor Recipient Eddie Rickenbacker's 14K Golden Nugget putter who foundation founder Hal Shaw got to know on a personal level. '14k Gold PL (plated) The Nugget' is engraved on the sole of this mallet style putter, along with a horse shoe illustration. Two distinct maroon and yellow circles are found on the face towards the heel and toe. The accompanying lot photo is a reference photo that features Rickenbacker with the putter in hand and is for reference only. A signed letter from the founder of the Zaharias Golf Foundation, Hal Shaw, will accompany this lot. 35"
