Vintage Tru-Vue Stereoscope Set In Original Box
This lot features a Tru-Vue Stereoscope viewer manufactured in Rock Island, Illinois. Swing thru golf film is included with Bobby Jones instructional techniques including series 1 putting, 4 the short irons, and 6 short approaches etc. Four total film strips of visual instruction and third dimension pictures. The Tru-Vue device is constructed from dark brown Bakelite with a high-gloss finish. It is designed for viewing 35mm stereoscopic film strips and features dual fixed-focus magnifying eyepieces and frosted light-diffusion windows on the front face. A manual film advancement lever is located on the side of the body. The viewer is accompanied by its original red cardboard storage box. The Bakelite viewer is in very good vintage condition with a well-preserved glossy surface and no visible cracks or chips. The frosted diffusion windows are intact. The viewing lenses are clear and free of significant scratches or internal debris. The original red storage box shows moderate shelf wear, including rubbing and scuffing at the edges and corners. The smaller film boxes exhibit light edge wear consistent with age. The film strips have not been unrolled for inspection. Please refer to pictures for a detailed condition report.
