Vintage Johnny Farrell Signature Monorel Mashie Hickory Shaft Golf Club
This vintage golf club is a Monorel Mashie iron featuring the signature of professional golfer Johnny Farrell. The club head is constructed of hand-forged iron with horizontal scoring across the face. The back of the head features several stamped markings including SPECIAL, HAND FORGED, and MADE IN SCOTLAND. A scripted Johnny Farrell signature is centered above an emblem depicting a golf club head and the text T.S.S.L. REGD TRADE MARK. The right vertical edge of the back of the head is stamped MONOREL MASHIE. The club is fitted with a period hickory wood shaft showing a natural grain and is topped with a traditional black leather wrap grip. Johnny Farrell (1901-1988) was a prominent American professional golfer who famously defeated Bobby Jones to win the 1928 U.S. Open. The T.S.S.L. mark refers to The St. Andrews Sport Limited, a Scottish manufacturer known for producing high-quality hand-forged clubs during this era. 37 1/2"
