Vintage Golf Ball-Form Cast Metal Novelty Coin Bank
A vintage novelty coin bank modeled in the shape of a dimpled golf ball. The object is constructed from two hemispherical sections of cast metal joined at the equator. A horizontal coin slot is integrated into the central seam. The top of the sphere contains a circular opening with a threaded brass-colored metal insert, designed to accommodate a securing screw or decorative topper. The exterior is finished in white enamel-style paint with a textured pattern of raised circular motifs mimicking golf ball dimples. The base of the bank features an embossed circular maker mark. The center of the mark displays a stylized bird emblem. The word CHINA is embossed along the lower curve of the mark. The upper text within the circular mark is present but remains illegible due to surface wear.
