US Golf/Historical Philatelic Collection, FDCs, Sigs Include Nicklaus, Trevino, Olazabal & Many More
A collection of philatelic covers and postal history primarily focused on the theme of golf, housed in a black archival cover album. The collection features a significant assembly of United States First Day Covers (FDCs) honoring legendary golfers including Bobby Jones, Babe Didrikson Zaharias, and Francis Ouimet, with stamp denominations of 13c, 18c, 25c, and 32c. Notable philatelic varieties include numerous artist-signed, hand-painted, and hand-drawn cachets by artists such as Doty and Guy Salvato. The collection includes several autographed covers that include Jack Nicklaus, John Daly, Bruce Fleisher, Jose Maria Olazabal, Bob Murphy, Paula Cramer, Lee Trevino and Jason Dufner. In addition to FDCs, the album contains historical 1930s US Air Mail flight covers with commemorative cachets for Camden, South Carolina and Cheboygan, Michigan. Cancellations are predominantly circular date stamps (CDS) from significant golfing locations such as Augusta, Georgia; Pinehurst, North Carolina; and Brookline, Massachusetts. A small selection of international golf-themed covers from Italy, France, and French Polynesia is also included. Due to quantity of signatures, these have not been reviewed by JSA and do not come with authentication.

Each lot will get its own 30 minute clock, which will extend by 30 minutes any time that lot receives a bid during extended bidding.
