Two Walter Hagen Haig Ultra Golf Iron Heads Salesman Samples/Prototypes in Presentation Case
A pair of vintage Walter Hagen golf club iron head samples, each constructed of chrome-plated steel. These demonstration models feature detached hosels that expose the internal cross-section of the clubhead and neck. The first iron features a sole marked with the numeral 9 above two dots, alongside the text fluid-feel and 385. The back of this clubhead is embossed with HAIG ULTRA and the name Walter Hagen in script, with CONTOUR SOLE near the top line. Its corresponding hosel displays a series of stamped dots and lines around the base. The second iron has a sole marked with a stylized circle-and-line logo, the numeral 9, and REG. NO 19M0. The back displays a red enamel bar reading THE HAIG, a blue bar marked ULTRA with a gold-toned star, a blue crest logo, and the name Walter Hagen in script. The hosel for this model features a diamond-pattern knurled finish. Both pairs of components are housed in a black textured hardshell presentation case with a red velvet-flocked fitted interior..
