Tommy Armour & Bobby Cruickshank Dual Signed 1965 Honoree Dinner Program


Bobby Cruickshank was the toast of the town in 1965 at this dinner at Chartiers Country Club honoring their Head Professional starting in 1949 teaching Carol Semple Thompson at the Pittsburgh-area club. Also signing this program on the frontside for preferred presentation was attendee Tommy Armour, Other notables breaking bread at the event included Bobby Jones, Ben Hogan, Sam Snead, Arnold Palmer, and Walter Hagen - listed on the 'Special Guest List' inside the back cover. Cruickshank's competitor and friend. Armour, The "Silver Scot", won 3 Majors - the 1927 US Open, the 1930 PGA Championship, and the 1931 Open Championship. Bobby Cruickshank was also a Scottish Golfer that was one of the leading professionals of the 1920's and 1930's notching 17 PGA Tour wins and a dozen other non-sanctioned events. Inside are Cruickshank career highlights through captions, photos and even a scorecard depiction.
