Tiger Woods' 2004 Masters Player Contestant Pin #78 - Palmer Last Year & Phil 1st Win
With only 93 contestants appearing in the 2004 Masters, this oval 1" diameter badge is highly elusive to Masters collectors. With badge #1 going to the past years champion each badge is then issued according to when the player shows up for the Masters and registers for the tournament. In 2004, Tiger Woods received #78 as would also be listed on the Masters pairing sheet from that year. With original pin still in place, this contestants pin's memorable Augusta National design packs a big punch in the way of Masters collectibles. An added plus is the fact that this high quality example comes from a well known player (tried to soft sell the fact that THIS IS TIGER WOODS!! Now I feel better) Not just an ordinary Masters year either with Arnold Palmer's playing in his last Masters and Phil Mickelson scoring his first Major victory.
