Tiger Woods Signed 2000 Tiger Woods Foundation TiMing & TemPo Statue Gift
Prime Tiger Woods signed this 2000 Tiger Woods Foundation trophy with gold marker on the Cherrywood base. Why two Buddahs? Tiger Woods discussed his upbringing on CBS News in 2010 which might help connect the dots for this likely 1-of-a-kind Tiger signed trophy display. "..which my mother taught me at a young age. People probably don't realize it, but I was raised a Buddhist, and I actively practiced my faith from childhood until I drifted away from it in recent years."
This deluxe trophy gift display signed and handed out mid-Tiger Slam carries the nameplate: "Tiger Woods Foundation, New Orleans, LA, July 30, 2000." About a 1.5" rotating wood base holding a pair of Buddah-esque smiling golfer statues named on an engraved metal plate as "TiMing and TemPo - The Golf Gods." Each with a club in its hand, one wears sandals while the other is sporting spikes. It measures an impressive 13.5" tall with the base at 13" in diameter. There is a small indentation in front of the figures where it appears something has been removed; we've placed a golf ball in that slot, which was possibly there initially. Additionally each of the Buddahs have been carefully repaired with adhesive at the base. Please inspect the photos in this lot for a detailed condition report. 2. During extended bidding, you may bid only on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
3. Lots with only ONE or NO BIDS will close at 10pm ET
