Tiger Woods Signed 1999 PGA Championship Final Round Actual Walking Scorer Scorecard - 1st PGA Champ Win PSA/DNA
Game and Tournament-used items from the most significant and memorable events continue to dominate memorabilia world. Tiger is without question on the golf Mount Rushmore, with his index as well. Walking next to him for the 1:20 pm final round of his first PGA Championship win and second major in 1999 at Medinah was this scorecard sheet filled out by his group's scorer John Noel - pictured in Sports Illustrated's recap. The chance of a lifetime would conclude with Noel asking for the 23-year-old champ to sign the winning round total with his then blazing black HUGE sharpie formation. Supporting documentation includes that clipped photo of Noel just feet away from the follow through Woods on Page 36 of the Sports Illustrated (circled and notated 'My Dad Page 36), along with a photo of Noel with the kids that carried the walking scoreboard, along with the 'Walking Scorer Schedule for PGA Championship Week' from Denise Radek who was appointed the Walking Scorer Committee Chairperson. Woods finished with an even par 72, circled by the scorer, for a 277 and the title by the narrowest of margins over they hopeful rival and Spanish phenom Sergio Garcia famous for his energy and jumping to see blind shot results. PSA/DNA has reviewed this signature and their full letter of authenticity comes with this lot.
