Tiger Woods Signed 1997 Masters Tournament Official Scorecard UDA
'History written on a scorecard...and kept in the record books,' The Masters Tournament verified Twitter/X account wrote when it posted the actual 1997 final round scorecard for champion Tiger Woods. This is the next best thing to the original that is well secured in the Augusta National Golf Club archives. On this official 1997 Masters Tournament scorecard, Tiger Woods signed in blue fine point marker across the 'Competitor's signature' line just below the 'I have checked my score hole by hole' on the right side. The dazzling signature is certified by Upper Deck Authentic with matching hologram stickers on the scorecard and on the COA that details the date and place that it was signed by Tiger Woods in front of a UDA witness - May 31, 2024 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Filled out hole-by-hole is Woods' 4th round for a score of 69, correctly marked following 'TW' with black sharpie in a nondescript hand. Notice the perforated strip along the bottom is correctly removed, as tradition goes it contains the player's own score in which they tear off as it is handed in. It would be the final of a cumulative four round winning shot tally of 270. Tiger Mania was at full strength after Woods claimed his first Major at the 1997 Masters Tournament to become the hottest athlete in all of sport. Tiger's 18-under was a full 12 shots better than Tom Kite in second place.
