Tiger Woods Scotty Cameron 1998 PGA Grand Slam Victory Gold Plated Newport II Putter
This Scotty Cameron for Titleist Newport Two gold-plated putter was produced to commemorate Tiger Woods victory at the 1998 PGA Grand Slam - same specifications of Woods' flat stick. The putter features a polished gold-plated finish and a precision-milled face in a heel-and-toe weighted blade design. The sole is engraved with the text 1998 Champion, PGA Grand Slam, Tiger Woods, and Newport Two, accompanied by the Scotty Cameron three-pointed crown logo. The neck is stamped with the name Cameron and the back cavity contains the Titleist script. The putter is equipped with a grey and black corded Titleist grip featuring the crown logo. Included with the putter is a black pebbled-leather headcover with white Scotty Cameron embroidery and an American flag patch. The lot also includes a brass-toned commemorative plaque that reads PGA Grand Slam, November 18, 1998, Tiger Woods, Newport Two, 2 Up, $400,000. This item is accompanied by a Scotty Cameron Certificate of Authenticity, Registry Number A-063532, dated January 12, 2023, which identifies the piece as a Victory Gold Plated Newport Two, won by Tiger Woods in 1998, and confirms the authenticity of the shape, stamping, and finish. 34" length
