Tiger Woods One of a Kind Signed Dallas Stars Hockey Puck JSA FULL #BB87350

The Dallas Stars were on the way to hoisting the cup and Tiger Woods was set to embark on the quest for his second major championship in June of 1999 - and all was right with the sports world. Here is the byproduct of 23-year-old Tiger Woods' Dallas Stars locker room visit, alongside friend and fellow major winner Mark O' Meara, with the Lonestar state's hockey team squaring off in the conference finals against the Colorado Rockies. Somewhat humorously, O' Meara had more majors than Woods at the time 2 to 1. Common procedure when those individuals not on the team, wearing access credentials had the pleasure of visiting the NHL team quarters it would be those individuals asking for signatures from the Stars such as HOFers Brett Hull and Mike Modano. This situation was different, it would be the guest honor doling out the signature. The Woods and O' Meara pair were a good luck charm as the Stars would win the Stanley Cup, but this Tiger Woods time-period signature from the top of the official game puck to the bottom is this lot's clear point of emphasis. Woods spoiled Sergio Garcia's coming out party two months later at the 1999 PGA Championship to become a multi-major winner and the rest was history.

Through decades of Tiger Woods mania the sizzling hot market has yielded a host of signed hats, gloves, programs, cards, baseballs, etc., with his Upper Deck Authentication partnership even bringing to light signed basketballs have even come to market. This is the very first, one of a kind Tiger Woods signed Dallas Stars official In Glas Co hockey puck exhibiting his 1999 time-period black sharpie. The verso shows light usage, as it is an official game puck, as well as much more than that. James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed this signature and their FULL letter of authenticity #BB87350 comes with this lot.
