Tiger Woods Limited Edition Titleist Replica Forged Iron Set 21 of 50 w/ Display Cabinet & COA
Only two of 50 Titleist 'T' Forged Tiger Woods 1998-2001 replica iron sets found in their custom engraved wooden display cabinet have found the public auction block now 25 years since release. #21, here, realized $29,914 in June of 2023. The extremely limited edition tribute to Tiger Woods remains a Holy Grail chase for many collections, others not expecting to have the aquisition opportunity. The set style Tiger used during his Tiger Slam is identified on the hozel of each club and laser engraved into the case itself as number 21 of a production run of only 50 consecutively numbered sets with distribution limited to primarily Titliest executive. The collection includes eight forged blade-style irons 3-iron to Pitching Wedge. Each club head is constructed with a polished chrome finish and features the Titleist script logo and FORGED stamping on the back, along with a T stamped on the toe. The clubs are assembled with True Temper Dynamic Gold X100 steel shafts and black and white textured Golf Pride grips. The left door of the cabinet features engraved text identifying the set and its edition number. The right door features an engraved list titled Worldwide Victories detailing 26 tournament wins including 6 majors on this set's resume from 1998 to 2001. Accompanying the set is a formal Letter of Authenticity on Acushnet Company letterhead dated October 17, 2001, signed by John Worster, Executive Vice President of Golf Club Operations, and an original matching envelope. The case measures 43 1/2 x 16 x 6" for this new collection centerpiece.
