Tiger Woods 2001 Bay Hill Inv. Scotty Cameron Titleist Gold Plated Newport II Victory Putter
Tiger Woods claimed his second of eight Bay Hill/Arnold Palmer Invitational winner's trophies and 25th of 82 PGA Tour victories by four strokes over fellow major winner Davis Love III and the field. Here is the gold-plated Titleist Scotty Cameron Newport II putter, produced as a Victory edition to commemorate Tiger Woods winning the 2001 Bay Hill Invitational! The putter head and hosel are finished in polished gold plating. The sole is custom engraved with the text 2001 BAY HILL INVITATIONAL PRESENTED BY COOPER TIRES WINNER and CAMERON, featuring three circular indentations above the name. The rear cavity of the club head contains the Titleist script logo. The putter is fitted with a stepped steel shaft and a black Scotty Cameron Studio Design grip with stylized white lettering and a crown symbol. Included in the lot is a black leather Scotty Cameron headcover with an embroidered American flag and brand name. Also included is a brushed metal commemorative plaque detailing the tournament date of March 18, 2001, the Newport II model name, the winning scores of 71, 67, 66, and 69 for a total of 273, and the prize money of $630,000. The item is accompanied by an official Scotty Cameron Certificate of Authenticity, Registry Number A-071158, dated July 3, 2024, which identifies the piece as a Victory Gold Plated Newport II, won by Tiger Woods in 2001. 34" length
