Three Graeme W. Baxter Golf Course Offset Lithograph Prints Including Artist Proofs
A trio of offset lithograph prints depicting iconic golf courses by artist Graeme W. Baxter. Each print features a lush landscape scene of a renowned course and includes various hand-signed and printed markings.
The first print depicts Royal Birkdale. The lower center margin features printed text reading ROYAL BIRKDALE by GRAEME W. BAXTER THE OPEN COLLECTION. The lower left margin bears the printed text BAXTER PRINTS and a pencil-inscribed edition number 452 / 500. A colorless embossed circular seal is present to the left of the edition number, reading FINE ARTS GUILD. The lower right margin is hand-signed in pencil Graeme W. Baxter.
The second print depicts Muirfield Golf Club, identified by printed text along the top edge: The official print of the Open Golf Championship, The 3rd Green, Muirfield Golf Club by Graeme W. Baxter. The lower margin is inscribed Artist Proof in pencil on the left and hand-signed in pencil on the right. A printed remarque in the center margin shows the clubhouse and the logo for THE OPEN GOLF CHAMPIONSHIP 2002. Each lot will get its own 30 minute clock, which will extend by 30 minutes any time that lot receives a bid during extended bidding.
