Stunning Amber Glass Pinch-Form Scotch Decanter with Silver Golfing Overlay
This amber glass decanter measures 4 1/2" x 4 1/2" tall. It has a pinched side ovoid form (easy gripping) .
The shoulder is inscribed with the word “SCOTCH’” in
block lettering above a central image depicting a silver
overlay golfer in knickers at the conclusion of a swing.
There is a caddy figure and his bag of clubs on verso.
The vessel has deep vertical indentations on the sides
which are bordered by silver bands. The item includes a
matching amber glass stopper fitted with a circular silver
colored metal cap. The silver overlay is applied as both
figurative decoration and as linear accents following the
contours of the vessel. No manufacturer hallmarks or
silver purity marks are visible in the images.
