Sterling Cut Glass Heritage Pattern Carolinas PGA Assistant Championship Trophy Vase 2000
This cut glass trophy vase was produced by Sterling Cut Glass for the 2000 Carolinas PGA Assistant Championship. The clear glass vessel features a tapered body on a flared, weighted foot with a starburst cut base. The exterior is decorated with deep geometric brilliant style cuts, including diamond-hatched panels and vertical mitered cuts in a seahorse style with fan-shaped starbursts near the rim. A polished oval reserve on the front is etched with the Professional Golfers Association of America logo, which includes the text Professional Golfers Association of America and 1916 surrounding the central PGA and crossed clubs. Above the logo is an arched inscription reading CAROLINAS PGA ASSISTANT. Below the logo are the etched corporate marks for sponsors Titleist, FootJoy, and Cobra, followed by the lines CHAMPIONSHIP / 2000 CHAMPION. The word HERITAGE is etched in capital letters on the underside of the base rim. A gold-toned foil sticker is present on the base with the text STERLING at the top, CUT GLASS at the bottom, and a central diamond-shaped logo containing a stylized letter S. 6 1/4" x 6 1/4" x 9"
