St. Andrews 'The Evolution of Golf' Special Historical Edition of 8 Golf Balls
This set of antiquity golf balls have a great presentation and intrigue for collectors and fans alike. Accompanying this lot is also a reproduction statement letter from Hoyle in 1793 explaing the rules of 'The Game of Goff' or 'Golf'. There are explanations regarding the changes of golf balls and clubs through the years, it is listed on the interior of the display box. Each ball depicts a certain name associated with the evolution of golf, they are as follows:

Long Spoon - St. Andrews
Baffy - St. Andrews
Cleek - St. Andrews
Track Iron - St. Andrews
Niblick - St. Andrews
