Spalding Kro-Flite Eddie Loos Lake Shore C.C. Mashie Iron Golf Club with Hickory Shaft
This is a vintage Spalding Kro-Flite mashie golf club featuring an iron head and a tapered hickory wood shaft. The club head is endorsed by professional golfer Eddie Loos and features his facsimile script signature alongside an affiliation with Lake Shore Country Club. The face of the iron head is designed with deep horizontal grooves. The back and sole of the head contain multiple stamped markings: F-5 and PAT APPLIED FOR over MASHIE near the top rail; the central facsimile signature of Eddie Loos over LAKE SHORE C.C.; and the Spalding maker mark oriented vertically next to a bird in flight logo, followed by KRO-FLITE over REG.U.S.PAT.OFF. The shaft is made of hickory wood and is capped with a period-correct dark leather wrapped grip secured with whipping at the base.
