Spalding Gold Medal Olympic Dot Punched Face Hump Putter with Square Shaft
This Spalding Golf Medal Olympic putter release was only produced by the sporting equipment juggernaut for only four years, a limited release in comparison to Scott's earlier model similar in design. Another distinguishing characteristic is maker Edwin Scott's patented square shaft. Extensive head stamping includes: Spalding Golf Medal, O, Olympic, Reg. U.S. Pat. Off., Hammer Brand, Accurate with arrow cleek mark, a hammer, and pair of flower heads. Verso these stampings on the uniquely rounded putter head design is a dot punched face. This example is in good condition, with each of the stampings legible. Patent club collectors will be keying in on this lot as a worthy addition.
